AIG Claims Map Application Design

Project Description

In this project for AIG Science, the goal was to redesign a live internal pilot project for claims adjusters.  The project included high level UX and information architecture improvements with a focus on visual design. This phase of the redesign was geared toward pitching the designs to AIG stakeholders to tell the story of their application before proceeding with a full roll-out and update of the developed project.

Role

On this project I lead the visual design and worked closely with the Director of User Experience Design and the client to define the information architecture.

Process

Since this phase of the project was geared toward an initial pitch, it had an expedited turnaround (the entire project duration was under 2 weeks) and used a strategic process to achieve the objectives of high level layout and design improvements for select templates.  This included a quick round of discovery for the existing data components and technical prototype, sketching of information architecture, and visual design mockups that would be used both as presentation materials and to be transitioned into live development of the application.
